These three charts show the percentage of people living below the poverty line in the Faroe Islands between 2009 and 2022. Each line represents a region. Overall, fewer people live below the poverty line in 2022 than in 2009, but notably, the Tórshavn area hasn't decreased as much as the rest of the country. One possible explanation is that people in poverty from other regions have moved to Tórshavn, keeping the rate there relatively stable.
